Quezon city: The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at bolstering the nation's efforts against illegal drugs. This agreement marks a significant step in integrating volunteerism into national development as part of the government's comprehensive approach.
According to Philippines News Agency, PDEA Director General Undersecretary Isagani Nerez highlighted the critical role of volunteerism in enhancing the government's anti-drug initiatives. He noted that the partnership reflects a unified goal to empower communities and expand the reach of their services.
