Batangas: All-Filipino Conference champion Petro Gazz and Choco Mucho battle Nxled and Galeries Tower, respectively as the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) On Tour resumes Saturday at the Batangas City Sports Center. The Angels and the Chameleons square off at 6:30 p.m. right after the match between the Flying Titans and the Highrisers at 4 p.m.
According to Philippines News Agency, Myla Pablo, Jonah Sabete, Nicole Tiamzon, Aiza Pontillas, Ranya Musa, and Joy Dacoron are expected to deliver for the Angels in the absence of standouts Brooke Van Sickle and MJ Phillips, both members of Alas Pilipinas competing in the VTV International Women's Volleyball Cup in Vietnam. Leading the Chameleons are EJ Laure, Lucille Almonte, Lycha Ebon, May Luna, and Chiara Permentilla.
Meanwhile, Choco Mucho will rely on Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Royse Tubino, Isa Molde, Des Cheng, Cherry Nunag, and Lorraine Peca±a. Rookie setter Tia Andaya is also missing in the Flying Titans roster due to national team duty.
Galeries Tower, which finished eighth in the recent conference, will bank on promising players Encarnacion, Ysa Jimenez, and France Ronquillo, and veterans Roselle Baliton, Andrea Marzan, and Dimdim Pacres. The Pool A action follows the successful opener in Vigan, where Pool B squads Creamline and Cignal both swept their respective assignments against Akari and Capital1.
