PhilHealth Extends Accreditation Renewal Deadline for Health Facilities to January 14

Manila: The Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) has announced an extension for the renewal of accreditation for health facilities, pushing the deadline to January 14, 2026.

According to Philippines News Agency, the decision to extend the filing period was influenced by Malaca±ang's issuance of Memorandum Circular No. 111, which mandates the suspension of government work on December 29, 2025, and January 2, 2026. Initially, the deadline was set for December 29, 2025, as per Advisory No. 2025-0055.

PhilHealth has specified that applications submitted by January 14, 2026, with complete requirements and a valid Department of Health License to Operate or Certification, will be considered for continuous accreditation. However, submissions after this extended deadline will be processed as reaccreditation, potentially causing gaps in accreditation validity.

Health facilities seeking assistance or further information are encouraged to contact their Local Health Insurance Offices or PhilHealth Regional Offices. PhilHealth is also accessible through its hotline, mobile numbers, and via email at [email protected].
