PNP Achieves 100% Resolution Rate in Public Complaints

Manila: The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday reported a 100-percent resolution rate in public complaints handled from January to September 2025 through its Complaint and Referral Monitoring Center (CRMC).

According to Philippines News Agency, the PNP stated that this achievement, covering all communication and feedback platforms, was a significant factor in the PNP's compliance with the Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) indicators for efficiency, accountability, and citizen satisfaction.

During the first nine months of the year, the CRMC processed a total of 21,392 complaints received through various portals. Of these, 12,468 were referred to the concerned PNP units for appropriate action, while 3,085 received immediate response from CRMC personnel.

The consistent increase in complaints per quarter, from 4,558 in the first quarter to 6,232 in the second, and 7,768 in the third, reflected the growing public trust in the PNP's accessible and responsive mechanisms.

Key external portals, including the 8888 Citizens' Complaint Center and Contact Center ng Bayan (CCB), also achieved a 100-percent resolution rate. The 8888 hotline portal resolved 3,666 complaints within 72 hours with a 91.15-percent compliance rate, while the PNP "CCB" portal sustained perfect compliance and resolution. These achievements earned commendations from partner agencies for the CRMC's fast, coordinated, and citizen-focused response.

The CRMC is set to launch the enhanced e-CRMIS (Customer Relation Management Information System), featuring upgraded cybersecurity, a user-friendly design, and advanced analytics tools to improve monitoring and transparency. Established under PNP Memorandum Circular 2000-002, the CRMC serves as the PNP's primary mechanism for receiving, processing, and monitoring public complaints nationwide.
