Central luzon: Police arrested six individuals listed among the most wanted persons (MWPs) in the region during separate manhunt operations on Monday and Tuesday. The Police Regional Office-3 (PRO-3) conducted coordinated operations across the provinces of Nueva Ecija, Bataan, and Pampanga, targeting suspects with pending warrants of arrest for serious criminal offenses, including rape, child abuse, drug violations, and theft.
According to Philippines News Agency, in Nueva Ecija, joint police units captured 'Herald,' the No. 5 MWP in the province, in Cabanatuan City. He is facing charges for statutory rape, with no bail recommended. Also in Cabanatuan, authorities nabbed 'John,' who was the region's No. 5 most wanted. He is also charged with statutory rape and child abuse.
In Bataan, 'Jay,' the province's No. 9 MWP, was captured in Bagac for two counts of lascivious conduct under Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act), with bail set at PHP400,000. In Balanga City, authorities apprehended 'Navs,' the province's No. 4 MWP, on charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
In Minalin town, police arrested qualified theft suspect 'Sam,' Pampanga's No. 8 MWP.
