PSC Partners with Elite Link to Launch Mobile App for Filipino Athletes

Makati city: The Philippine Sports Commission has forged a partnership with US-based technology company Elite Link, Inc. to develop a mobile application aimed at empowering Filipino athletes on a global scale.

According to Philippines News Agency, this digital database and recruitment platform is designed to bolster talent identification and development efforts by the PSC and National Sports Associations (NSAs). The app will allow athletes to register, upload, and update their personal profiles, statistics, credentials, achievements, and performance highlights. This information will be accessible to verified coaches, scouts, and recruiters for enhanced visibility and monitoring.

PSC Chairperson Patrick Gregorio expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, describing it as a significant opportunity for young Filipino athletes to connect with their communities, discover new opportunities, and fulfill their potential. He emphasized the potential of the app to honor future champions with the success it facilitates.

Guillaume Lucci, president and CEO of Elite Link, highlighted the app’s design focus on the needs of Filipino athletes while ensuring global readiness and appeal. The platform aims to create a transformative digital space for athletes to connect with peers, train with specialized coaches, secure sponsorships, join teams, and showcase their skills. Additionally, it will provide opportunities to participate in sporting events at all levels.

Lucci further stated that the mission is to create an inclusive sports ecosystem offering equal opportunities from grassroots to professional levels. He expressed gratitude to the PSC for their dedication to advancing Philippine sports and supporting athletes in their pursuit of dreams.

Data protection mechanisms and authentication features will be implemented to guarantee secure access and data integrity. The PSC will have access to basic data insights and analytics via a dedicated dashboard to facilitate the implementation and oversight of an integrated amateur sports promotion and development program.

White Cloak Technologies, involved in the app’s development, emphasized its commitment to applying its expertise in mobile and web development to the Elite Link project. The company aims to ensure that the platform meets high standards of performance and reliability.

The MOU allows for flexibility, permitting NSAs to employ or integrate their own athlete management strategies. Gregorio lauded the partnership, expressing gratitude to Elite Link and its team for their shared vision and dedication to advancing Philippine sports.
