Rains Over Parts of PH Due to Three Weather Systems.

Manila: Several parts of the country will continue to experience rains caused by the northeast monsoon, the easterlies, and the shear line, the weather bureau said Wednesday. Rains will persist in Batanes, while scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected in the Babuyan Islands. According to Philippines News Agency, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has warned that moderate to heavy rains could lead to flash floods or landslides. The rest of the country is likely to experience isolated rain showers due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. Severe thunderstorms might also pose risks of flash floods or landslides. Meanwhile, strong winds and rough seas are expected over extreme Northern Luzon. The rest of Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere in the country, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA reported.
