Aside from providing free train rides, the DOTr and MARINA will hold the '2025 Gawad Natatanging Mandaragat' that seeks to recognize Filipino seafarers for performing exemplary tasks that enhance maritime safety and protection, or have pioneered innovative solutions, technologies, or processes that lead to enhancement of safety in maritime operations and protection of the marine environment.
The MARINA and its partner manning agencies will also hold a job fair at the Rizal Park Hotel on Wednesday for jobs in the maritime sector.
