Soccsksargen Police Honor Teacher-Cop for Dedication to Education

Manila: Police authorities in the Soccsksargen region have recognized the exceptional dedication and exemplary service of one of their personnel who serves as a teacher for young learners inside the regional camp in General Santos City.

According to Philippines News Agency, in line with the observance of World Teachers' Day, Police Cpl. Dianne Camille Gingoyon, the teacher of the PRO-12 Child Development Center, was conferred the Medalya ng Kasanayan for her "eminently meritorious and invaluable service" as a mentor and nurturer to the sons and daughters of police officers assigned at the regional office.

"Her dedication reflects the nurturing spirit of the PNP family - one that values education, compassion, and the moral foundation of the next generation," Police Regional Office (PRO-12) Regional Director Brig. Gen. Arnold Ardiente said during Monday's flag-raising ceremonies at Camp Gen. Paulino T. Santos.

Meanwhile, six other police personnel were awarded the Medalya ng Papuri for their exemplary efficiency and devotion to duty during the security coverage of the visit of ambassadors and their spouses from Sept. 25 to 27 in General Santos City and South Cotabato.

Ardiente stated, "these recognitions remind us that excellence is not limited to the battlefield or operation grounds - it also shines through our everyday service, whether in teaching, securing dignitaries, or serving our communities with integrity and compassion."

Soccsksargen police cover the provinces of South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and the cities of Kidapawan, Tacurong, Koronadal, and General Santos.
