Spin Doctors triumph over Griffins in Spikers Turf volleyball

Manila: Savouge Aesthetics defeated Volleyball Never Stops (VNS), 25-16, 25-23, 25-16, to gain a share of the early lead in the Spikers' Turf Invitational Conference at Santa Rosa Sports Complex in Laguna on Tuesday. Jhun Lorenz Señoron and Norwel Sanama scored nine points each as the Spin Doctors secured their second win after a narrow five-set victory over the Martelli Meats. DN Steel-Far Eastern University also has two wins over Chichi DHTSI and D'Navigators Iloilo. 'I always tell my team that let's do it one step at a time. So whoever we will face, let's just do our best. So that's all I told them. Let's not think about that ranking," Savouge coach Sydney Calderon said after the one hour and 23-minute match.
