KUALA LUMPUR, National fencer Philippa Jean Ong Ziyi aims to make her first and final Malaysia Games (SUKMA) appearance in Sarawak this year as her most memorable experience at age 20. Philippa has gone to such lengths as to train with the Vietnam national squad in Ho Chi Minh and undergo a stint in Japan in her efforts to win gold medals for the Federal Territories contingent. 'My personal target would be to win two gold medals for Putrajaya (Federal Territories) - one in the women's foil individual event as well as the women's foil team event. 'The SUKMA event feels somewhat like the Olympics to me as it is such a prestigious event in Malaysia,' she told Bernama when contacted.
