KUCHING, Sarawak helped themselves to a fifth petanque gold medal when they won the men's triples event at the 2024 Malaysia Games (SUKMA). The home trio of Abdul Harith Oris, Aniq Ashraf Mohamad Hafizul and Farid Amirul Muhamad had no problem overcoming Kelantan's Mohamad Zulhaizzad Mohd Zin, Muhamad Atiq Daneal Azizi Aswariza and Wan Mohamad Farihin Wan Rosli 10-5 at the Sarawak State Petanque Court. Johor took the bronze with a 7-3 win over Melaka in the fight for third place.
