KUCHING, Negeri Sembilan's e-sports team took the gold in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) event at the 2024 Malaysia Games (SUKMA) after edging out Perak 3-2 today. In the Grand Final held at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak, which followed a best-of-five format, Negeri Sembilan got off to a rocky start, losing the first match 9 kills to 3. However, they bounced back with a strong performance, winning the second and third sets 10-5 and 15-7. Just when Negeri Sembilan needed a only point to confirm the gold medal, Perak got a lifeline by winning the fourth match 18-3. In the final showdown, both teams were locked in a fierce battle, each securing 11 kills. But it was Negeri Sembilan who ultimately prevailed by destroying Perak's crystal, sealing the gold medal in the MLBB event.
