Manila: A recent survey showed the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as the most approved and most trusted government agency.

According to Philippines News Agency, the 2025 Pahayag survey conducted from December 7 to 10, 2025, indicated that TESDA earned an approval rating of 62 percent and a trust rating of 43 percent. "More than being number one, what matters to us is that our programs lead to jobs and better lives for our learners," TESDA Secretary Jose Francisco Benitez stated in a statement on Tuesday. "This motivates us to further strengthen our partnerships and improve the quality of our training nationwide."

Benitez emphasized that the results reflect the agency's consistency in direction and service delivery. The survey, which included 1,500 respondents nationwide, also showed the Department of Science and Technology and the Commission on Higher Education ranking second and third, respectively, in approval ratings.

TESDA has maintained the top position in the Pahayag survey, conducted by Publicus Asia, since 2022. The agency announced plans to utilize its PHP26 billion budget for 2026 to create more employment opportunities and expand access to technical vocational education and training.
