Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Syarikat Air Perlis (SAP) Dr Ir Ts Mohmad Asari Daud was elected as the Vice President of the International Water Association (IWA) at the General Assembly of the International Water Association in Toronto, Canada yesterday (Aug 10). Vice President of the Malaysian Water Association Adam Saffian Ghazali in a statement today said this prestigious role will see Mohmad Asari who is also President of the Malaysian Water Association serve for two years until the 2026 General Assembly in Glasgow. 'Dr. Ir. Ts. Mohmad Asari's election as Vice President is a remarkable achievement that aligns with Kuching, Sarawak being chosen as the host city for the 2028 World Water Congress and Exhibition, where he also serves as the Congress President,' Adam Saffian said in his Facebook post. Adam Saffian said the Malaysian Water Association extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mohmad Asari, viewing his election as a significant milestone that promises to elevate the standards and future of the water and wastewater industry in Malaysia.
