Manila: A significant portion of the Philippines is set to experience rainfall due to three active weather systems, as reported by the national weather bureau.

According to Philippines News Agency, in its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) detailed that scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are anticipated in regions including Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, Soccsksargen, BARMM, Eastern Visayas, Sulu, Cebu, and Bohol. These conditions are attributed to the shear line and are likely to cause moderate to heavy rains that could lead to flash floods or landslides.

The northeast monsoon, locally known as "amihan," is predicted to bring light rains to areas such as Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, and Quezon, with isolated light rains expected over the remaining parts of Luzon and Visayas. Meanwhile, isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies will affect the rest of Mindanao.

PAGASA also forecasts moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters across Luzon and the eastern section of the Visayas. In other areas, winds will be light to moderate, with slight to moderate sea conditions expected.

The weather bureau has indicated that no low-pressure area is currently being monitored for potential tropical cyclone development.
