Torre Boasts ‘5-Minute’ Police Response in Bulacan Visit

Bulacan: The chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) boasted of faster and more accessible services through its 5-Minute Response Time (5-MRT) commitment, boosted by the 911 hotline. In his speech during his visit to the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO), Gen. Nicolas Torre III emphasized the importance of quick response during emergencies, asserting that every second of waiting feels prolonged for those in need.

According to Philippines News Agency, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. lauded the PNP's rapid response capability in his fourth State of the Nation Address, highlighting it as a testament to the government's efforts in enhancing public safety. The provincial government, under the leadership of Governor Daniel Fernando, contributed significantly to supporting the BPPO by donating 100 units of radio communications systems, drones, 24 motorcycle units, and a vehicle.

Governor Fernando acknowledged the commendable efforts of the BPPO in maintaining safety in Bulacan, leading to its recognition as the 3rd Safest Place in the Philippines by the 2025 World Travel Index. He expressed appreciation for the police force's skill and unity, which contributed to the province's esteemed safety status.
