BACHOK, Graduates of the Universiti Malaysia Kelantan's (UMK) Faculty of Creative Technology and Heritage (FTKW) have consistently achieved a nearly 100 per cent employability rate each year. Dean of the faculty, Associate Professor Dr Raja Iskandar Raja Halid attributed this high employability rate to the faculty's strong demand, particularly in related industries. He said to date FTKW has produced over 5,000 graduates, with a significant number receiving a six-star rating from the National Graduate Employability Index (GE Index) for two consecutive years, in 2021 and 2022. "The marketability of graduates from this faculty can be said to be 100 per cent, exceeding the requirements set by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). Moreover, the six-star rating from the GE Index indicates high demand for our students in the industry," he told Bernama after the 2024 Final Year Art Innovation Exhibition Programme (KREASI) at UMK Bachok Campus today. He expressed the hope that graduates from this faculty would make a mark not only in local but also international industries, showcasing their works and products beyond the country's borders.
