BANDAR PERMAISURI, A woman was killed in an accident involving her car and two other vehicles at KM35.5 of Jalan Kuala Terengganu-Kota Bharu today. Setiu district police chief DSP Mohd Zaub Mat Dris said the victim, Nik Nabilah Nik Abdul Ghaffar, 36, was travelling from Besut to Kuala Terengganu when the accident happened at 12.50 pm near the Setiu border archway. He said Nik Nabilah is believed to have lost control of her Toyota Avanza MPV and grazed the right rear side of an oncoming lorry. "At the same time, the victim's vehicle crashed into the front of a tour bus, which was also coming from the opposite direction. "Her son, Wan Muhammad Aqil Wan Zulkhairi, 16, who was sitting in the back seat, sustained a right-hand injury, while the lorry driver, lorry attendant and bus driver were unhurt," he said when contacted today.
