3 nabbed, P794-K shabu seized in Zambo

Three people, including two suspected big-time drug pushers, were arrested while some PHP794,240 worth of illegal drugs were seized in law enforcement operations, police officials announced Thursday.

Brig. Gen. Ronaldo Genaro Ylagan, Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) director, identified the two big-time suspects as Jemar Abdurahman, 25, and Majid Ahiya Udjah, 46.

Ylagan said authorities nabbed Abdurahman in an operation around 10 p.m. Wednesday in Fernandez Drive, Barangay Sta. Barbara.

Abdurahman yielded some 100 grams of suspected shabu packed in five plastic sachets worth PHP680,000 and PHP500 marked money.

At around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Udjah, the top 6 priority target in Zamboanga Sibugay province, was arrested in a warrant of arrest operation in Barangay Tenan, Ipil town.

Udjah has a standing warrant of arrest for drug charges issued by the Ipil Regional Trial Court in August 2019.

Meanwhile, Maj. Albin Cabayacruz, ZCPO Station 7 chief, said suspect Arnulfo Lambo, 42, was arrested in a search warrant operation around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at a subdivision in Barangay Lunzuran.

Police seized from the suspect Recovered some 16.8 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP114,240, three live and 128 empty shells of .45 caliber pistol, and illegal drug paraphernalia.

The suspects will be charged with the violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
