The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES) is undertaking 12 development projects in Kampung Aril, under the Kampung Angkat MADANI initiative, with completion expected by the end of this year. Its Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad said that the implementation of the development project will benefit about 2,200 villagers. He said that the project involves an allocation of RM2.5 million, which has been distributed according to the needs of the project. 'Among the allocations, NRES has dedicated RM210,000 to the Department of Environment, for the cleaning and repainting of the bridge's handrails and cleaning up the canals. 'Additionally, we are working on repairing and upgrading garbage dump sites, as well as installing e-waste and recycling collection points,' he said, during a press conference after a working visit to Kampung Angkat MADANI, in Kampung Aril, today.
