Catbalogan City: Authorities arrested three drug suspects and seized PHP20.4 million worth of shabu during interdiction operations in Samar province, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Tuesday.

According to Philippines News Agency, PDEA identified the suspects with aliases Noel, Paul, and Matt. They were apprehended in Barangay Mahayag, Catbalogan City, at about 4 p.m. on Monday.

Confiscated from the suspects were three kilograms of shabu and various drug paraphernalia. The suspects are facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. They are currently detained at the local police station.
