Manila: Three weather systems are forecast to bring rains over the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Friday. In its 4 a.m. advisory, the weather bureau highlighted the impact of these systems across various regions of the Philippines.

According to Philippines News Agency, the Bicol Region, Quezon, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line. This phenomenon, which involves the convergence of cold and warm winds, is also expected to affect Metro Manila and other parts of Calabarzon, including Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon, bringing similar weather conditions.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon, locally known as amihan, will bring cloudy skies with rains to Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora. The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, and the rest of Central Luzon will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, also as a result of amihan.

The rest of the country is anticipated to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the influence of easterlies. Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and the Visayas are expected to experience moderate to strong northeast winds and moderate to rough seas. In contrast, light to moderate northeast winds and slight to moderate coastal waters will prevail over the rest of the archipelago.

PAGASA has confirmed that no low pressure area is currently being monitored, ensuring that the weather conditions remain stable without any significant disturbances on the horizon.
