The TTSP is designed for displaced workers, while the TWSP provides industry-specific training aimed at upskilling workers. The UAQTEA targets senior high school graduates enrolled in a three-year diploma course, whereas the STEP is open to anyone interested in acquiring a skill for business or livelihood opportunities.

CSITE was established under Republic Act 11192, which was passed in 2019. As the training arm of TESDA, CSITE offers scholars not only free training but also free assessment and a monetary allowance. The diploma course further includes a book allowance.
