Manila: The Police Regional Office in Caraga Region (PRO-13) reported the arrest of six most wanted persons (MWPs) during separate operations conducted on Thursday. In a report released Friday, PRO-13 said among those arrested was Alias Harry, 53, of Barobo, Surigao del Sur, who was wanted for murder. 'Alias Harry is listed as the fourth MWP in the region for the crime he committed in 2011,' said PRO-13 chief, Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano in the report.

According to Philippines News Agency, Abrahano noted that after 14 years in hiding, the suspect was finally apprehended by Barobo police officers, along with operatives from the PRO-13 intelligence units. On the same day, four other MWPs at the provincial level in Surigao del Sur, listed among the top ten, were also arrested in Barobo town for qualified theft.

Also on Thursday, alias Rose, 60, listed as the top MWP in Claver, Surigao del Norte, was apprehended in Barangay Cagdianao, Claver, for serious physical injuries. 'All arrested individuals are now under the custody of their respective arresting units, pending the return of their warrants of arrest to the issuing courts,' Abrahano said.
