Antique Town Launches PHP3 Million Early Childhood Center

Manila: A newly inaugurated Early Childhood Care and Development Center (ECCD) in the Municipality of San Remigio provides a more convenient and safer learning environment for daycare children. San Remigio Mayor Margarito Mission Jr. said the PHP3 million new center in the town proper is furnished with new tables, chairs, and learning materials. It has separate restrooms for boys and girls, a playground, and is surrounded by a fence to keep the learners safe.

According to Philippines News Agency, the ECCD Center will replace the dilapidated old learning center. The center, which accommodates 35 learners, is also accredited by the National ECCD Council. During the inauguration, San Remigio Mayor Margarito Mission Jr. highlighted the new center's facilities, emphasizing the importance of providing a secure and conducive learning environment for young children.

Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Lazaro Petinglay expressed his appreciation to the local government unit (LGU) in his message. He noted that through this new center, the LGU demonstrated its commitment not only to infrastructure enhancement but also to providing holistic development for children in their formative years.
