Pasay city: The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) has honored the Department of Justice (DOJ) - Office of the Regional Prosecutors (ORPs) of Regions 8 (Eastern Visayas) and 11 (Davao) for their outstanding public service achievements. According to Philippines News Agency, ORPs 8 and 11, led by Regional Prosecutors Irwin Maraya and Janet Grace Dalisay-Fabrero, respectively, received recognition for their exemplary performance in delivering convenient and efficient public services. They achieved full compliance with Republic Act 11032, known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 (EODB), for the year 2023. The awards were presented at the culmination of the three-day Ease of Doing Business Convention, held from October 28 to 30, at Conrad Manila in Pasay City. ARTA engaged third-party service provider People's Dynamics, Inc. (PDI) to implement the law-mandated Report Card Survey (RCS), which measured government bodies' compliance with the EODB law. From November 2023 to April 2024, PDI utilized survey questionnaires and inspection checklist tools to gather public and client satisfaction ratings. The results conclusively demonstrated public approval of the DOJ's efforts to streamline government services. Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, "It is an honor and humbling at the same time to receive this valuable recognition, highlighting our relentless efforts to simplify government processes in our pursuit to attain real justice for all in real-time." He extended warm greetings to the hardworking staff in Regions 8 and 11, emphasizing that their dedication inspires nationwide efforts to achieve similar success.
