PUTRAJAYA, The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) today announced the appointment of Asliza Ali as its chief executive officer and secretary. According to EAIC, Asliza has vast experience in the legal field through her service as Unit Head of the Classified Cases Section, Legal Division, Attorney General's Department from 2020 to 2024. Before that, she was with the Contract and Medical Negligence Unit, for three years from 2017 to 2020 and also served as a director at the Johor State Legal Adviser's Office (PUU), the PUU of the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Youth and Sports and also as Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, said EAIC in a statement today. The commission said her appointment is expected to further strengthen the EAIC's functions and governance as a body to oversee the integrity of enforcement officers and enforcement agencies under the EAIC Act 2009 (Act 700) Source: BERNAMA News Agency
