Batangas: Police arrested the No. 8 most wanted person in the Bicol Region during a joint operation in Batangas on Monday. Police Regional Office (PRO) 5 (Bicol) Director, Brig. Gen. Nestor Babagay Jr., identified the suspect as "Arman," a resident of Lipa City, Batangas, originally from Aroroy, Masbate, who is facing three counts of rape.
According to Philippines News Agency, joint personnel of the Aroroy Municipal Police, Sto. Tomas City Police, and Batangas Police served the arrest warrant. The suspect is currently in the custody of the Sto. Tomas City Police.
Brig. Gen. Nestor Babagay Jr. stated, 'We will continue to intensify intelligence-driven operations and strengthen collaboration with the community to bring law offenders to justice and make our region safer and more peaceful.'
