BOC to Auction 12 Luxury Vehicles in Manila Amidst Ongoing Public Sales

Manila: The Bureau of Customs (BOC) is gearing up for another round of auctions, planning to sell 12 luxury vehicles next week in Manila. In a recent social media announcement, the BOC - Port of Manila (POM) confirmed that the auction would be conducted through sealed bidding at 10 a.m. on August 13 at the Conference Room, Prefab Building, BOC, Port Area, Manila.

According to Philippines News Agency, the array of vehicles up for grabs includes a Lexus ES (2019), Jeep Wrangler (2021), Toyota Alphard (2019), Land Rover Range Rover (2021), BMW X6 (2023), Mercedes Benz AMG GT (2021), and Land Rover Range Rover (2023). Further adding to the luxurious lineup are a Bentley Continental (2022), Rolls-Royce Cullinan (2021), Rolls-Royce Phantom (2022), Ferrari SF90 Stradale (2022), and McLaren Senna (2021).

The BOC has scheduled a public viewing of these vehicles on August 6 and 7 at the BOC-POM Grounds. Interested bidders are reminded that the deadline for submitting requirements is August 10.

Last week, the BOC, operating under the Department of Finance, reported the successful remittance of PHP205.016 million in proceeds from the negotiated sale of two forfeited Bugattis. The 2017 Blue Bugatti Chiron and 2019 Red Bugatti Chiron, valued at PHP101.508 million and PHP103.508 million respectively, were sold to Elite Garage Corporation.

Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno previously stated that there are an additional 200 vehicles set for future auctions, with the government anticipating earnings of around PHP500 million.
