Muntinlupa city: Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director General Gregorio Pio Catapang Jr. announced a new partnership with the National Housing Authority (NHA) aimed at addressing the housing requirements of BuCor personnel. This initiative is a significant move by the bureau to enhance the welfare of its employees, encouraging them to seize the opportunity for a more secure home environment.
According to Philippines News Agency, the Bucor Directorate for Engineering Services (DES) has commenced the process for personnel interested in the housing project. The development is strategically situated along the BuCor Circumferential Road in Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa City, offering both convenience and accessibility. The project provides flexible payment terms with an amortization period ranging from 15 to 30 years, making home ownership both attainable and manageable for BuCor employees.
The long-term financing options are designed to relieve financial strain, allowing personnel to focus on their duties with peace of mind. Director General Catapang emphasized that stable housing not only elevates the quality of life for employees but also enhances their overall well-being and job performance. The project's location ensures easy access to the workplace and essential amenities, promoting a better work-life balance.
Catapang remarked that by taking advantage of this opportunity, BuCor employees could enjoy improved living conditions, away from the immediate confines of correctional facilities. This initiative is expected to foster a healthier work-life balance and contribute positively to the morale and efficiency of the personnel.
