Bulacan: The Provincial Government of Bulacan (PGB), in collaboration with the Philippine National Police and the Pyrotechnics Regulatory Board, is advocating for the establishment of cooperatives among small-scale pyrotechnics entrepreneurs. This initiative was underscored during a press briefing and an inspection of firecracker and pyrotechnic device display areas at Santiago Compound, Brgy. Turo, Bocaue, Bulacan.

According to Philippines News Agency, Governor Daniel R. Fernando emphasized the provincial government's focus on job creation and support for small businesses by working closely with local entrepreneurs. The aim is to develop agreements that assist small vendors in obtaining licenses and complying with government regulations.

As Bulacan gears up for the 2025 year-end celebrations and the arrival of 2026, Philippine National Police Acting Chief P/Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez, Jr. reiterated their dedication to inter-agency collaboration to safeguard lives and property. Nartatez expressed confidence in the cooperative efforts of the PGB, PRB, PNP, and other stakeholders to prevent disasters and ensure a regulated New Year celebration.

To promote a safe New Year's celebration, a variety of illegal firecrackers were showcased during the inspection. These included Kabase, Binladen, Tuna, Kingkong, Kwiton Bomb, Atomic Bomb, Plapla, Piccolo, Dart Bomb, Coke in Can, Giant Atomic, Goodbye Philippines, Goodbye Chismosa, Carina, Ulyssis, Yolanda, and Pepito. Several other Bulacan officials were also present during the inspection.
