C. Luzon: The Police Regional Office-Central Luzon (PRO-3) arrested 802 individuals wanted for various charges during the month of October. PRO-3 Director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan highlighted that among those apprehended were 142 most wanted persons accused of heinous crimes, such as murder, rape, robbery, and drug-related offenses. According to Philippines News Agency, Brig. Gen. Maranan commended the efforts of the operating units and emphasized the importance of community cooperation in suppressing illegal activities in the region. In his statement, Maranan expressed the significance of a strong police presence in public areas to ensure community safety and encouraged the public to continue supporting police programs aimed at combating crime. In a separate development, Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brig. Gen. Bernard Yang reported that 91 wanted individuals were apprehended between November 2 and 8. Yang noted that these arrests represent significant progress toward ensuring safer communities . The SPD jurisdiction includes the cities of Makati, Pasay, Taguig, Parañaque, Las Piñas, and Muntinlupa, as well as the municipality of Pateros.
