Manila: Centro Escolar University (CEU) has been recognized as one of the top innovative universities worldwide, as it improved its ranking in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI). CEU, with campuses in Manila, Makati, and Malolos, moved up nine places to 259th out of 1,253 schools, a significant jump from its previous position at 268th.

According to Philippines News Agency, the WURI is a global evaluation system that emphasizes real-world contributions over traditional academic metrics.
