Davao city: Classes and work have been suspended across the Davao Region as local government units (LGUs) take precautionary measures in response to moderate to heavy rains caused by a shear line.

According to Philippines News Agency, several municipalities in Davao del Norte, including Carmen, Asuncion, Kapalong, San Isidro, Santo Tomas, New Corella, and Talaingod, have declared a suspension of classes. The cities of Panabo, Tagum, and the Island Garden City of Samal have also halted classes for the day. In Davao City, both public and private schools at all levels have postponed classes due to the adverse weather.

In Davao de Oro, the provincial government has suspended work in government offices, following advice from its Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. However, offices offering frontline, emergency, and essential services will continue operations. Additionally, the municipalities of Mabini, Maco, Maragusan, Nabunturan, Mawab, Monkayo, Compostela, New Bataan, and Montevista have also canceled classes due to heavy rains.

Davao Occidental has seen similar measures, with the LGUs of Malita, Jose Abad Santos, and Sarangani suspending classes. In Don Marcelino and Sta. Maria, both work and classes have been suspended, while the Schools Division of Davao Occidental advised its workforce to adopt work-from-home arrangements.

In Davao Oriental, classes have been deferred in the towns of Boston, Cateel, Baganga, Caraga, Banaybanay, Lupon, Manay, Tarragona, San Isidro, Governor Generoso, and Mati City. Meanwhile, in Davao del Sur, classes have been postponed in the towns of Sta. Cruz, Magsaysay, Hagonoy, Padada, Kiblawan, Sulop, Matanao, Malalag, and Digos City.
