Manila: The Bureau of Customs (BOC) is looking to generate some PHP352 million in revenue from the sale of 12 luxury vehicles at the Port of Manila set next week. The auction aims to boost government revenue through the sale of these high-value assets.
According to Philippines News Agency, the BOC announced in a social media post that the sealed bidding is scheduled on April 28 at 10 a.m. It will take place at the second floor of the BOC building in Port Area. Prior to the auction, a three-day public viewing of the vehicles is set from April 21 to 24 at the port, allowing potential buyers to inspect the cars.
The list of vehicles to be auctioned includes a Toyota Alphard, Lexus LX570, BMW XM, Mercedes Benz AMG GT, Ferrari SF90 Stradale, a Ferrari SF90 Stradale Mansory, Mercedes Benz G650 V12 Biturbo, and a McLaren Senna. Also up for sale are two Land Rover Range Rovers and two Rolls Royce Phantom sedans.
The BOC has set the floor price at PHP351,985,816.16 for all 12 cars, with the white 2021 McLaren Senna having the highest price at PHP102,042,250.95. Interested bidders have until April 24 to submit the necessary requirements to participate in the auction.
