Cagayan de oro: The Department of the Interior and Local Government in Northern Mindanao (DILG-10) is working to create a centralized system to support local government units (LGUs) by developing infra-learning hubs.

According to Philippines News Agency, during a radio interview on Tuesday, DILG-10 director Bruce Colao said the Local Infrastructure Learning Hubs (LILHubs) will function as a repository for LGUs where DILG officers can connect with other agencies and organizations. "We can soon provide capacitation based on their demands and needs, as we bridge them to other concerned agencies," he stated.

Colao mentioned that the LILHub is the result of an agreement that the DILG-10 signed with other government agencies and learning institutions in the region. Once launched, Colao expects LGU officials to utilize the resources to aid in the development and implementation of their policies while enhancing their governance.
