DPWH Undertakes Road Repairs in Response to Presidential Directive

Metro manila: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is actively repairing potholes across various locations in Metro Manila, capitalizing on favorable weather conditions.

According to Philippines News Agency, the DPWH's repair initiatives align with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s directive to promptly address roads damaged by recent heavy rains. The ongoing repair efforts target several key sections, including E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue, Luzon Avenue Flyover, Mindanao Avenue, Quezon Avenue Bridge, and the EDSA-Santolan Flyover (northbound) in Quezon City. Additionally, Macapagal Boulevard, Roxas Boulevard, and Spine Road in Pasay City, along with Taft Avenue and Plaza Cervantes (Binondo) in Manila, are undergoing repairs.

Pothole patching is also being conducted on M. H. Del Pilar Street in Malabon City, C5-Kalayaan Avenue in Taguig City, and MacArthur Highway in Valenzuela City. The repair work aims to ensure safer and smoother travel for commuters and motorists throughout the region.
