KUALA LUMPUR, CelcomDigi Bhd said there has been 'no or limited impact' on customers and its operations during the global information technology outage triggered by a CrowdStrike software update yesterday. In a statement today, the mobile network operator said network services were unaffected, and that its customers were able to use their data and voice services as normal. 'Some disruption was experienced on its support services, such as reload capabilities, for which service recovery teams were immediately deployed to setup workarounds, offering customers alternatives to continue reloading during this period. 'The company will continue monitoring its network and support services to ensure customers continue to enjoy CelcomDigi services seamlessly,' it added. It said customers who believe they have been impacted are encouraged to call CelcomDigi support hotline for help (Celcom: 019-601 1111, Digi: 016-2211 800). To keep customers duly informed, the company is posting service-related announcements on it s website front page and on social media, with more information on support provided during these events on its Notices page, it said.
