Legazpi city: The Civil Service Commission-Bicol Region (CSC-5) is extending an invitation to aspiring public servants to partake in a weeklong government jobs fair. This event, aimed at providing opportunities to join the public service, is set to take place on September 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at SM City Legazpi, showcasing a variety of vacant positions from nine regional government agencies.

According to Philippines News Agency, over 300 pre-registered applicants have been recorded as of Tuesday. Participants are advised to come prepared with a personal data sheet that includes a recent passport-size photo nameplate and signature, along with photocopies of any relevant certificates of eligibility, ratings, or licenses, and transcripts of records. Applicants are encouraged to dress in casual or business attire to make a professional impression.

This jobs fair is part of a larger initiative taking place simultaneously across 16 regions from September 2 to 5. The dates and venues for the event are as follows: National Capital Region on September 4 at SM North, Quezon City; Region 1 on September 2-3 at Robinsons Place, La Union; and Region 2 on September 3 at SM Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. Region 3's event will be held on September 4 at Robinsons Starmills, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, while Region 4 will host its fair on the same day at Waltermart, Batangas City, Batangas. Other regions will hold their events at various locations and dates, providing widespread access to those interested in public service careers.
