Metro manila: The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has introduced a special delivery service to bring the renowned Guimaras mangoes directly to consumers in Metro Manila and Metro Cebu. This initiative coincides with the Manggahan Festival 2026, which runs from May 15 until May 24.

According to Philippines News Agency, the initiative is a collaboration between PHLPost, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the Guimaras Mango Growers and Producers Development Cooperative. The project aims to enhance the market reach of local agricultural products while providing direct support to mango farmers and producers in Guimaras.

"We are proud to help bring the pride of Guimaras to Filipino homes through efficient and dependable delivery services," the PHLPost stated. Customers interested in purchasing can visit mangoestometro.com to place orders, fill in delivery details, and make payments through the QR Ph network. A screenshot of the transaction receipt is required to confirm orders.

The service offers 5-kilogram boxes of premium Guimaras mangoes at flat rates, which include delivery. Metro Manila residents can purchase a box for PHP1,600, while those in Metro Cebu can order for PHP1,500. PHLPost has assured that the quality of the mangoes will be maintained with a delivery timeframe of three to seven business days.

PHLPost continues to widen its scope beyond traditional mail services, aiming to empower local businesses and increase the accessibility of premium domestic products to the public.
