High-Value Target Arrested with PHP10.2 Million Worth of Shabu in Negros Oriental

Dumaguete: Anti-illegal drug agents seized PHP10.2 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested a pusher during a buy-bust in this capital city late Thursday night. Lt. Stephen Polinar, spokesperson of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOrPPO), said Friday that the arrest of alias 'Franklin' came following weeks of close monitoring and surveillance.

According to Philippines News Agency, the suspect, 41, was tagged a high-value individual in the police's list of drug personalities. Polinar said police agents received information that the suspect had in his possession a large volume of shabu.

At around 10:19 p.m., the police and agents of the local Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested 'Franklin' with 1.5 kg of suspected shabu in Purok Kalubihan, Barangay Bajumpandan here.
