The tournament will be held from October 23 to 26 at the Sta. Elena Golf Club in Santa Rosa, Laguna, and will feature an impressive lineup of fellow Major winners, including Bubba Watson, Patrick Reed, Charl Schwartzel, and Louis Oosthuizen.
According to Philippines News Agency, Johnson has an impressive Ryder Cup record, boasting an unbeaten streak in five appearances and a perfect 5-0 at Whistling Straits in 2021. His most recent participation in the International Series was at the 2024 PIF Saudi International. Johnson expressed his enthusiasm for playing in the Philippines, highlighting the unique opportunity to connect with new fans and experience the local culture.
Johnson's illustrious career includes a victory at the 2016 US Open at Oakmont Country Club, where he scored four-under-par 276, and the 2020 Masters Tournament, where he set a record with a 20-under-par performance.
