Butuan City: The Police Regional Office in the Caraga Region (PRO-13) on Tuesday announced the arrest of 175 wanted individuals during operations conducted from June 1 to 23. Of those arrested, 37 are considered the most wanted persons.

According to Philippines News Agency, data provided by PRO-13 showed that most of the arrests were made by the Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (PPO) with 66, followed by the Surigao del Sur PPO with 33, and the Butuan City Police Office with 32. During the same period, the Surigao del Norte PPO made 29 arrests, the Agusan del Norte PPO (10), and the Dinagat Islands PPO (5).

'We continue to enforce the law to suppress illegal activities and promote public safety across Caraga,' said PRO-13 director, Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano, in a statement on Tuesday. Abrahano noted that from January 1 to May 31, a total of 1,231 wanted persons were arrested in the region.
