Cebu: The Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) announced that its services have resumed in Cebu and Masbate, along with the distribution of monetary aid to sectors affected by Severe Tropical Storm Opong (international name Bualoi) and the magnitude 6.9 earthquake.

According to Philippines News Agency, LANDBANK President and Chief Executive Officer Lynette Ortiz emphasized that these efforts are aimed at supporting recovery in the impacted areas. Ortiz stated, "LANDBANK stands ready to deliver both immediate and sustained financial lifelines to our fellow Filipinos in Cebu and Masbate." The bank's emergency support programs ensure that all affected sectors, including farmers, fishers, MSMEs (micro, small, and medium enterprises), and wage earners, have the necessary resources to recover and rebuild.
