Low-Cost Housing Initiative Draws Interest from Over 600 Antique Provincial Employees

San Jose de Buenavista: Over 600 employees of the provincial government of Antique have made reservations to avail themselves of a socialized housing project under the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program in Barangay San Pedro in this capital town. The initiative, which addresses the housing needs of government workers, marks a significant step toward improving living conditions for many.

According to Philippines News Agency, the PHP1.6 billion Binirayan Village 4PH Towers project, which began construction on February 12, 2025, is set to consist of eight towers, providing a total of 1,248 housing units. Antique Provincial Housing and Regulatory Office (PHARO) supervising home management specialist Eby Butiong highlighted that the employees interested in the project are qualified Pag-IBIG Fund members. These employees, residing in various municipalities, work at the capitol and other provincial offices in San Jose de Buenavista, which fuels their interest in the housing loan project.

Butiong mentioned that the developer, Ethan Property Development, has been invited to a meeting next week for project updates. The timeline for the project indicates a planned turnover in 2028, which offers a promising timeline for potential residents.

The housing units will be built on a two-hectare lot acquired by the developer and will feature amenities such as a swimming pool, a clubhouse, and a children's park, aligning with the township concept envisioned for the community.
