Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories), Dr Zaliha Mustafa called on the Malaysian diaspora in China, particularly those in Shenzhen, to tap into their global networks to enhance Malaysia's international competitiveness. Speaking during a dinner hosted yesterday for 40 Malaysians, including students, civil servants and representatives of Malaysian-owned companies in Shenzhen, Dr Zaliha highlighted Malaysia's improving economic landscape, which she credited to the country's current political stability. The dinner was part of her six-day official visit to China, which began on Oct 7. "The political stability we are experiencing today has significantly boosted investor confidence in Malaysia," she said in a Facebook post. Dr Zaliha also urged Malaysian students in China to return home after their studies and contribute to the country's development. She expressed pride in Malaysia's recent achievement, highlighting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim recognition as the 15th mos t influential Muslim leader in the world, an accolade that brings great honour to the nation. In addition, she emphasised the crucial role played by Malaysia's three Federal Territories - Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur and Labuan, in driving national growth. Source: BERNAMA News Agency
