Manila: The Manila Cathedral in Intramuros is set to host a weeklong exhibit of photographs capturing moments from last month's conclave, which saw the election of Pope Leo XIV. The exhibit will commence on June 28 and conclude on July 6, presenting memoirs of Manila Archbishop Cardinal Jose Advincula alongside artifacts from the Order of St. Augustine.
According to Philippines News Agency, this exhibit is a segment of the celebrations for Pope's Day on June 29, marking the first such occasion for Pope Leo XIV. The conclave, which occurred from May 7 to 8 at the Vatican, was attended by 133 cardinals, including Cardinal Advincula and fellow Filipino cardinals Luis Antonio Tagle and Pablo Virgilio David.
Pope Leo XIV was chosen as the successor to Pope Francis, who passed away on April 21 at the age of 88.
