Manila: Oil companies will slightly adjust pump prices starting Tuesday morning. In separate statements, Caltex, Cleanfuel, and Seaoil said they will increase gasoline prices by 10 centavos per liter while diesel prices will reduce by 20 centavos per liter. Caltex and Seaoil will also roll back kerosene prices by 40 centavos per liter. Other oil firms are expected to follow suit.
According to Philippines News Agency, last week, local industry players implemented a significant hike on fuel prices of PHP1.20 per liter for gasoline and kerosene and PHP1.70 per liter for diesel. This will be the second consecutive week of price increases for gasoline products.
The Department of Energy has reported that retail prices of gasoline in Metro Manila range from PHP44 to PHP73.20 per liter, PHP44 to PHP67.47 per liter for diesel, and PHP67.70 to PHP82.94 per liter for kerosene.
