Opol: The municipality of Opol in Misamis Oriental facilitated more than 3,000 job vacancies for its residents from various local and multinational companies on Tuesday.

According to Philippines News Agency, Maisie Quidella, manager of Opol's Public Employment Service Office, stated that the job fair was organized not only for jobseekers but also for graduating students of the Opol Community College. Quidella emphasized the initiative's goal to reduce the unemployment rate in the municipality.

Quidella highlighted that the job openings were also available for out-of-school youth and other professionals who participated in the event. The job fair featured 482 job postings locally and 2,584 opportunities abroad.

On the same day, the municipality of Lantapan in Bukidnon also held a job fair for its residents as part of its founding anniversary celebrations.
